Welcome to Screen Cultures

Screen Cultures acts as a forum to bring together scholars across the Birmingham Centre for Media & Cultural Research who are actively involved in research into screen based media ranging from film and television, computer games, to animation and the internet. Our research is necessarily diverse and explores all aspects of production, distribution and consumption of screen media.

Screen Cultures is one of several research teams within the Birmingham Centre for Media & Cultural Research. The others include Interactive Cultures, Media for Social Change and, Creative Enterprise and Cultural Policy.
